Bacon & Olive Apéritif Cake

  • 180g Plain Flour
  • 1-5 tsp Baking Powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 150gmelted butter
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 100g Olives pitted & sliced
  • 100g Bacon bits fried
  • 100g grated gruyere or parmesan chees
  • 1 tblspn chopped rosemary

 

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees C
  2. Butter tin
  3. Mix flour, baking powder & seasonings in bowl
  4. Add eggs
  5. Stir in all other ingredients
  6. Spoon into prepared tin
  7. Bake for approx.. 45 minutes until fully cooked
  8. Cool slightly
  9. Take of tin and serve as aperitif
  10. Fabulous with Champagne.
