There is toasty oak and roast coffee on the nose, perfectly balanced by the spicy fruit aromas. It is a very well balanced yet complex wine, which will benefit from cellaring for up to 10 years.

Grape:  Blend of Syrah, Grenache & Mourvèdre,

Alcohol:  14.5% Vol

Drink by: 2024

Serving SuggestionHaving a Maori name suggests a roast leg of New Zealand lambwould be perfect, and it is. But it's also a fabulous wine to savour with hard cheeses like Compté, Cantal and Cheddar.
