Creamy Bacon & Roquefort Pasta
This is a very quick and easy supper dish perfect for mid-week
Cook pasta as per instruction on packet
In a wok melt butter and fry onion and bacon until just cooked.
Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 5 minutes
Add cream, cheese and passata and stir over medium heat until the cheese is fully melted (do not let the mixture boil)
Taste and add seasonings as required
Pour over the pasta and serve.
Pasta once cooked drain and put back in pan with a little olive oil to prevent it sticking together and you can then lightly re-heat if necessary.
Garnish with parsley
1pkt fresh pasta
200g bacon lardons
175ml double cream
75g Roquefort cheese
