Quick delivery, safely packed, great wine!

I was looking for a particular South African wine that we had tasted with friends on holiday and it was on Carte du vins website - but out of stock. I emailed Marian and she responded quickly to say it was coming back in soon and would let me know. I ordered the wine with some others and it came in time to give to our friends as a gift!
Excellent service and very good selection of South African wines I would recommend Carte du vin happily to anyone.

We have known Marian & Torq for quite a while and were delighted to find someone who sold SA wines which we love, having had so many wonderful holidays there. The wine tasting events have always been great fun, we travel from |Hertfordshire to Hampshire to join in, always good great value and enjoyable. We joined the Wine Club and always look forward to the quarterly delivery of excellent wines. We agreed we would buy better quality wines but drink less, not sure that has worked!!!

It's the third time we have used Carte-du-Vin, and their service never disappoints!!

A great selection of boutique South African wines, that we'd had on a recent trip to SA and thought we'd struggle to find here in the UK. Love all the Arendsig wines. If only you could get some wine from Kleinhoekkloof too!

We have bought several cases of outstanding red/white wines from Marian and Torquil over last 2-3 years - usually their South African ones, as they are our favourites!
The service is faultless and speedy - a bit like our consumption of the wines once they arrive, despite my best intentions when ordering!
I have no hesitation in suggesting that you must try their wines, if you haven't already - and am certain you not be disappointed.

Last month my 70th birthday party was held at my daughter's house courtesy of Marian and Torq. They provided a delicious meal accompanied by champagne and a good selection of wines. It was so relaxing being able to enjoy such an excellent meal in the setting of one's own home. We were sixteen people in total (including the grandchildren) and everyone had a great time.

Great to see CDV doing a range of South African wines from medium size wineries. Highlight was Clos Malvern on promotion. Good service from Marian and ordered on a Friday and delivery happened Sunday. Amazing!

Thank you for hosting a wonderful 90th birthday lunch with food and wine paired to perfection. A delighted father who enjoyed the special attention, description of the wines and delicious flavours of a lamb roast. Gluten-free was no problem as well and a relaxed time spent by all. It was great to have an Italian Sommelier host the food and wine evening on the 22nd October. My favourite white wine was the Talamonti Aternum and the red that stood out for me was the Chianti DOCG from Castello Della Paneretta. As usual, the food coming from Marian's kitchen was delicious and paired really well with the wines. 10/10 evening.....thank you.

I have dealt with Marian & Torque for some years now and they have become friends, they provide an excellent choice of wines, SA mainly for us and have supported our local Classic Car Club Transport Picnic with a stall providing wines tasting and sales. Friendly efficient service, is there anything else you need, I think not.

I visit a lot of South African wineries and normally bring my faves back home. With current travel restrictions in place it was a treat to stumble across Carte du Vin and their small but perfectly formed selection of SA wines. Clos Malverne Auret is one of my favourite reds ever, thanks for stocking it!

We had the Snow Mountain Sparkling Vonkel at my daughters birthday celebration -limited numbers in the garden -but we think it was the last hot Sunday . The Snow mountain was lovely everyone praised it in comparison to the other sparkling offerings -thoroughly recommend to any one .

Normally our club favour red wine but on this occassion the Pouilly Fuissé was voted overall 'Wine Of The Year'

I am sure you receive lots of appreciative emails after an event like CarFest.
However, I will continue anyway.
We discovered you at the festival three years ago and have come back each time as irritating repeat visitors who then forget to use you throughout the normal year.
You really are rather marvellous and should be congratulated for it. 
You allow us each time to buy wine, then you keep it cold for us until we drag ourselves away from the fun to collect and drink it.
Not only is your wine lovely but you are all lovely to deal with on the stand too despite being faced with people like us when you have worked for an incredibly long weekend.
We had south African white which was delicious and new to us. Thank you. Three bottles later and we happily stumbled home.
I promise faithfully to actually remember to look at your other wines now that we are all back to normal after the bank holiday festivities.
I hope you had a productive weekend. I sincerely hope it is worth your while to work the stand. We do tell everyone about you throughout the year. I hope you continue to find the event worthwhile.

Huge thanks to Marian and Torq for driving all the way to Barnes, SW London, for our fund-raising wine-tasting event. It was a great success and people are already asking about a follow-up later in the year. Torq's description of each of the wines hit just the right note......informative and entertaining.
