Introduction

Steps

  1. Make marinade by adding all ingredients together

  2. If using wood/bamboo skewers soak in water

  3. Cut beef into chunks

  4. Put beef in marinade for at least 1hr the longer the better!

  5. Thread loosely meat/peppers/onion/mushrooms on skewers

  6. Brush all with any left-over marinade and oil

  7. Either BBQ, grill or heat large skillet

  8. Cook turning regularly until cooked to your liking

  9. Let rest for at least 4 minutes on foil serve garnished with parsley

Cooks tips

Make sure you leave time for the marinade as the flavour improves if you can leave for a couple of hours. As these are made from quality beef though do not marinade overnight as the flavours will take over!

Serve with

fresh new potatoes and simple green salad

  • 750g Beef steak (rump or sirloin ideal)

  • 3 peppers (different colours look good)

  • 1 red onion

  • 16 small mushrooms

Marinade

  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)

  • 2 ½ tabs soy sauce

  • 2 tabs Worcestershire sauce

  • 2tabs balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tab rapeseed oil

  • Seasonings

  • Garnish with parsley
