Introduction

This is an old favourite, it makes a perfect topping for crostini or keep things simple add to toast for a snack supper

Steps

  1. Melt butter and fry  onion until soft - approx. 10 minutes.

  2. Add mushroom cook for 3 minutes.

  3. Stir in Sherry add seasoning and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Add cream to taste – heat gently.

  5. Serve hot on pieces of fried bread.
