Introduction

Great vegetarian canapé - perhaps change the chopped vegetables to red pepper to give it more colour

Steps

  1. Slice vertically zucchini, chop finely celery and carrot, 

  2. Heat all in griddle add place zucchini and sprinkle with salt and pepper

  3. Grill until just coloured and tender

  4. Mix cream cheese, celery, carrot and torn basil leaves together-season to taste

  5. Put cream cheese mixture one end zucchini slice and roll

  6. Garnish with chopped chives

Cooks tips

I use a flavoured cream cheese to make a more flavoursome filling.
