The wines at Peter Falke Winery are of the highest quality and this is down to the dedicated work of Werner Schrenk who has been the winemaker here since 2008.
The winemaking seed was planted during a holiday spent working at a vineyard as a young boy. His ethos is to understand the land, the cultivars on it, and experience the seasons and strive for the best result!
As we have found out in the past all the names of the red wines here are taken from the Grandchildren of the owners Peter and Danièlle. Watch this space as there has been a new addition to the family and who knows there may be a new wine produced to celebrate the new child!
We enjoy a pleasant couple of hours tasting the new vintages and enjoying a platter for lunch. The new vintages are all tasting well and Wim the marketing manager here is especially pleased with the New Year's ever-popular Blanc de Noir.
