Whilst it's always fantastic to enjoy a refreshing glass of Peter Falke wine being there in person, enjoying the amazing vista in the warmth of the South African sunshine is second to none.
Thankfully the vineyard has survived the pandemic and despite the restrictions on international travel the local customers have managed to maintain momentum in their business.
However, I can only recommend a personal visit as you'll see first-hand the wonderful modern interiors of the tasting rooms thanks to the keen eye of Mrs Daniele Falke.
We were welcomed by Wim the Marketing Manager here and partook in a full tasting of their entire wine selection. Clearly, 2021 has been a bumper year judging by the sheer number of wine awards this vineyard has attracted.
We stock 9 varieties from this vineyard and after our tasting, we have agreed to add from 'The PF Collection' signal variety range Cabernet Sauvignon. Watch this space!
Mrs Falke is 1/3 Hawaiian and spent her childhood in Hawaii, so when it came to naming the wines in their Signature Collection it was decided to use the Grandchildren's Hawaiin first names
